Each tree in our collection tells a story of resilience, adaptation, and natural beauty, offering visitors a chance to explore an impressive variety of species from across the globe. Among our visitors’ favorites are the iconic Giant Sequoias and Redwoods, majestic giants that bring a touch of California’s ancient forests right here. Their towering presence is a reminder of the wonders of nature’s design and endurance.
Favorites from Near and Fir
We’re also proud to feature the Mediterranean Maritime Pine, a hardy species with its distinctive umbrella-like canopy, evocative of coastal landscapes around the Mediterranean Sea. Another beloved resident is the native Garry Oak, a special species to this region, valued for its hardiness and the unique ecosystems it supports. As the only oak native to British Columbia, the Garry Oak stands as a testament to our area’s natural heritage.
